Jos Schoemaker (1960), a Dutch national, heads Getronics' Global Service Delivery and is responsible for Workspace Management on a Global basis, and from a geographical perspective for EMEA, Asia and Pacific. He has more than 20 years experience in the ICT Industry. Before joining Royal KPN N.V. in 2007, Jos Schoemaker worked for Unisys as Vice President and as Managing Director for the Global Infrastructure and Outsourcing Services division in Continental Europe. From 2000 to 2003, he served as Senior Vice President and Member of the Executive Board of AMS Corporation, a listed company in the USA. Previous to coming to AMS, Jos Schoemaker had spent 13 years with EDS Corporation as Managing director of EDS in the Netherlands and member of EDS' European board from 1999-2000, as well as working as regional director for EDS Australia in 1998. He was country manager for EDS Indonesia from 1996 to 1998, and Vice President for sales and marketing for Northern Europe from 1987 to 1996. Jos Schoemaker joined KPN in October 2007.
Jos Schoemaker has extensive experience in international Procurement & Logistics management, operations, strategy, sales and marketing, and he has demonstrated significant expertise in managing international businesses for large corporations, opening up new markets and developing customer relationships.
